Heart of the Cards

Long ago, in Ancient Egypt, men of great power played games to determine their fate.  These Games of Darkness were terrifying challenges that left the winner basking in glory and the looser doomed to insanity.  That is, until a young Pharaoh sacrificed himself to seal away the games forever.

Time passes... history turns to legend... legend to myth... and is eventually forgotten entirely.  For five thousand years, the Yami-no-Games were left in the sands of time, until a group of explorers found the Sennen-no-Puzzle, a strange item that no man could solve.  Until one day, when a young boy assembled the final piece and unlocked it's secrets...
